Crew 15
This week was a great experience. People went from strangers. To friends. To best friends. To family. I honestly found out who my friends are here. I met new people I will never forget. It was the hardest thing to leave the kids at kids camp. It may have been 2 days with them. But I fell in love with those kids. I'm going to miss this week and never forget it. #weekofhope
Crew #12
Leia: I had such a fun time on my first missions trip. It was such a amazing experience! I had a really good crew. They were all really caring. My favorite project was a barbecue at the rec center. We got to play with kids!
Crew #14 A look at our week - Hannah
Day one and two - My team and I visited a maternity clinic that helps women with food, clothing and toys. We folded and sorted clothing and toys but it was great to know we made a difference to Birthline and it's team.
Day 3 & 4 We served at a community garden and planted, pulled weeds, and made compost bins. It was amazing to see the gratitude on the clients' faces. It was a great week building up my relationship with my 40 person team, new friends, and God.
Touching to the Heart
Gerry: Birthline and the Community Garden were both moving places, touching to the heart. The volunteers at the Community Garden and Birthline were so greatful for our help. I was astounded at their generosity! At Birthline we sorted baby clothes, toys and women's clothes. At the Garden Center we shoveled manure, paved paths and made seed bombs to take home and beautify our home and city.

Restoration Ranch
Chandler: The Restoration Ranch was great! The men at the ranch had a unique story and background. It was great to see that they changed their lifestyle towards Christ. Definitely will miss them!
Joshua: I'm so thankful God gave me an opportunity to meet the men at the Restoration Ranch. I loved that the men were changing their lives and were living for Jesus. I could see the Lord in each and every one of those men.
Chase: Being able to hang out with the men at Restoration Ranch was a blessing. Learning from those men fixing their lives through Jesus was the best.
Sarah: Seeing and hearing how God is blessing the men at the Restoration Ranch was a highlight of my week. Working beside them was just an added bonus.
Isabel: We went to the Restoration Ranch today. We organized food drop offs and pantry and connected with residents.
Crew #10 blog entry 1
Our first worksite was called Restoration Ranch, a Christian-based rehabilitation center for men over the age of 18 who are trying to get their lives back on track. Our time at Restoration Ranch was spent working on several projects. On the first day we worked in the garden creating a trench for irrigation, cleaned and organized their extensive pantry, broke down some pallet boxes, and built a bath for their gigantic dog named Booger. On the second day we sanded a deck in preparation for re-staining it. The most memorable moment of our two day stay was during our devotion when six of the residents joined us and shared their inspirational stories about their addictions and their paths to recovery. (Matthew, Charlton, Michelle, Rebecca, and Charlie)
What a blessing!
It is just so amazing how God will give you so much grace and so much blessing even when it's apparent that you do not deserve it. God has given me such an amazing work crew! They are not only hardworking, but they are loving and filled with so much joy. They have all been great examples of Gods love and I am sad to think this is my last day to work with them. Sarah Stadler, Daniel, David, Leia, Anthony, and Tonia- thank you for being God sightings.

Daniel T. Week in San Diego
As we arrived in San Diego, we were eager to get to work right away. Our first day at work was on July 7th 2014. It was a sunny Monday morning as we stepped out of our vans and into our first project, Willy's Waterpark (not the real name of the park). We were eager to go at it with our pitchforks and wheelbarrows and took down the monstrous pile of mulch. Our knees were heavy, and our arms were heavy. But we finished the job with our pitch forks high.
We are still extatic to tackle more projects, but our mission will soon end. It is now hump day and we our journey is flying fast down the hill.

Alyssa's Day at the Mission
Today was very fun working out side sorting clothes today. Even though it was hot out we still had shade, but with or without shade it would be fun.

Birthline Crew 14
We went to site yesterday where the residents support needy mom's with diapers, wipes, formula, and baby clothes. We sorted donated baby clothes, sorted toys, packaged diapers, and played with client children.

We were blessed with the opportunity to go to the Tijuana River Valley community garden. We cleared debris out of pathways and replaced it with mulch. We had an amazing time serving the community of San Diego. ~ Isabel
